Where the road begins
Every new hero starts from nothing on the island of Kaldar. This is where the game teaches you everything you will need later — step by step, with no rush.
A storm wrecks the Dawn on the reefs and you wake on wet sand with no sword, no armour and no coin. The sea has left a crate beside you: a dagger and some bread.
The survivors have gathered round a fire. Dorn the boatswain tells you how things stand, Mireya the healer gives you food and potions, and Gunnar the smith your first armour.
Goblins and looters roam the shore. Tap an enemy and your hero fights on their own — and your skill with weapon and shield grows with every blow.
The fallen drop coins, potions and weapons. Every level adds health and mana, and behind every wall on the island stronger enemies wait.
Win back the chest the thieves stole, gather moss in an ancient ossuary, climb to the fire in the mountain’s bowl. Treasure lies at the bottom of the island’s caves.
A village of savages stands on the far cape, and their chief is your first real boss. His key opens the way off the island.
From level 8, Ketil the boatman rows you across to Riverhollow: a city, the order’s crypt and a whole continent waiting for its hero.
A storm drove the ship Dawn onto the reefs of Kaldar, and you wake on wet sand with no sword, no armour and not a single coin. Learn to survive the island, cross to the mainland and find out what lies in the crypt an order sealed a hundred years ago. It plays like the classic MMOs — except this world belongs to you alone.

Why play
Tap an enemy and your hero steps into the fight on his own. Where you stand and what you swing matter: every weapon has its reach, arrows miss more the farther they fly, and good armour can take a blow whole.
Start with a dagger from a crate the sea washed up and end with blades no trader sells — they only come off fallen bosses. Swords, axes, bows, staves, shields and armour: every new level opens up something better.
The knight takes blows on his shield, the mage burns crowds with fire, the ranger strikes from afar with his bow, and the druid binds foes in ice and calls allies to his side. Skills grow with use: the more you fight, the better you get.
From the beaches of Kaldar to the streets of Riverhollow, the dwarven mines and the elves’ cellar. A day in the game lasts an hour: the sun casts shadows by day, lanterns light up at night, and underground you will want a torch.
Support the development
Ancient Warriors was made in the spirit of the classic online RPGs, and the next goal is an extended online version built on this game: the same world, but shared, with other heroes beside you. The game is free and sells nothing, so every donation brings that day closer.

Vocations
Four vocations, as in Tibia: the knight takes the blows, the mage hits hardest, the ranger shoots from afar, the druid heals and calls allies. They differ not by bans but by how fast their skills grow.
