Until this update the druid differed from the mage only in what he summoned. Now they share their defensive spells and nothing else.
The mage kills it first. His book gains Great Fireball, Sudden Death and Ultimate Explosion — a blow on every foe within five cells at level 60. The mage’s summoning is gone entirely.
The druid keeps it off him. Ice strikes slow, the earth strike poisons, Paralyze roots a foe to the spot (bosses are only slowed), Wild Growth raises a thicket between him and the fight, and Mass Healing mends him and his creatures alike. And the druid has a ladder of summons of his own:
| Level | Creature | Role |
|---|---|---|
| 14 | Goblin | quick and soft |
| 25 | Forest Spirit | a fighter |
| 35 | Elf Archer | shoots from five cells |
| 45 | Grove Warden | calls foes onto itself |
| 55 | Grove Elder | heals his side |
From level 35 he can keep two at once. Every new spell already has its drawn icon.
